Tremesana guided walk
Walking in Timanfaya: the Tremesana guided route and the Montañas del Fuego visit
Inside Timanfaya National Park you can only walk on guided routes. Tremesana is free, linear, about 3.5 km and around 3 hours including transfers, low difficulty and in small groups. It is booked on the National Parks website and meets at Plaza de los Remedios in Yaiza.
Before you go
Visiting Montañas del Fuego (Islote de Hilario) needs no special permit: it is a timed ticket sold by CACT (€30 adults, €15 ages 7–12, free up to age 6, €24 for Canary-resident adults).
Day trip to Timanfaya and the Green Lagoon
If you cannot get a Tremesana place, this guided coach trip visits Timanfaya, El Golfo and La Geria. It does not include walking inside the park: the Volcano Route is done on the park's coach.
- Full day with a guide (about 8 hours)
- Stops at El Golfo and La Geria
